We Shine Like Stars, Oh Ya (part 2)...........

Sorry about that, I had to go in the middle of my last post. So, now I am finally gonna finish it.

The rest of the top 5 old school Nintendo games of all time.......

#2 - The Legend of Zelda
Unlike most nintendo games, you can not just sit down and beat this game in a few minutes. The first Nintendo game that I recall of having the capability of saving your game. Of course when you were playing it, you never took it out of the Nintendo for fear of your game getting erased. That brings memories of fighting with my brothers. They would take the game out and I would get mad. Like most Nintendo adventure games you are out to save the princess. But, this was the princess Zelda and she is so much cooler than Prinncess Toadstool.

#1 - Contra
I still play this game!!! Well, I still play them all. Eight levels that never get boring. I have still yet to accomplish the ultimate goal of beating the game with one life. Curse all the times I have done it in 2 or 3. I am proud to say that I do not need the 30 man code to go through this classic. You know, the up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, (select for 2 players), start. I am sure that in the time to come and as long as my Nintendo still works I will always be saving the world from the Red Falcon!!!

We Shine Like Stars, Oh Ya.....................

Time for another list!!!!

The top 5 best old school Nintendo games of all time.........

#5 - Ninja Gaiden
I was on my way to school one Jr. High day. Being from a small town, we rode our bikes to school. My older brother needed to make a stop at the bank to deposit some money in his savings. While he was doing his thing in the drive through with his bike I went out toward the road. Laying there in all its glory was a Nintendo game with the top half crushed. It appeared to have been run over from a previous bank customer. It was none other than Ninja Gaiden and was a new game at the time. I waited anxiously all day to go home and see if it still worked. Got home, popped it in, and became #5.

#4 - Super Mario Brothers 1,2,3
I could not just pick one and I did not want it to take up all my list. Unlike many people that I have spoken too, I love SMB2. It was the dream world, something different. I think it is the most difficult of the three. For that reason is why I think people did not like it. They just sucked at it! Everyone played SMB cause it came with the Nintendo. It was a good game to start people off with. SMB3 was pretty amazing for its time. It took forever to go straight through to beat and you could not save!

#3 - Tecmo Super Bowl
You could play; substitute; customize your play book; kept track of you stats; and most of all you could be Bo Jackson and run over, past, and around everyone in the flippin game!!!!

Snow, Snow, Snow..................

I am currently at my Dad's house in Missouri. I have not seen this much snow in a while. I am not a fan of cold weather, but this does bring me back to my childhood. Back then I loved to play in the snow. Big snow storms rocked. Not only did school let out, but you could build massive snow forts and get in huge snow ball fights with the neighborhood kids. Now that I am all grown up (only in actual age), snow just slows things down. What was once a convenience, is now an inconvenience. How things have changed.

LOTR: Return of the King (for the 3rd time)
LOTR: Two Towers
The Lost Boys
Pirates of the Caribbean
Momento
X-Men 2
Tombstone
Schindler's List
Tron
Tomb Raider
28 Days Later
Rat Race
Misery
.......I know their is a few more. So that is almost enough for one movie for everyday in January. Wow!

It is not like I wasted all my free time watching movies. I saw most of these while I was at work. I love my job.

Spades. I love the game. I have lost twice so far this year. I lost twice last semester. I am off to a bad start.

Great Superbowl!!! One of the best we will ever see. Congrats to the Pats. I was only behind them because they are AFC. All that know me even a little should know that the Kansas City Chiefs are my team. They had a great season, but i will take my hat off for the Pats and Panthers for a great Superbowl.

My favorite Superbowl comercial was the 7up commercial where the guy is driving the "Slam Dunk to win $1,000,000" truck. What happened to the days of good Superbowl commercials? Bring Michael Jordan back if you have too!!

If you want to repond to any of this rambling go here. Have a good one!!
