It is that time of the semester.......

Pledging is in full force. Yes, I am one of those that claim ownership to a certain order of Greek letters. Zeta Pi Lambda is my club. Pledging activities have begun. Now, those who have seen the movie Old School (which I haven't yet) are thinking of the worst. Their is a sterotype that goes along with frats that they do a bunch crazy dumb stuff, well, that is probably true in too many cases. I am apart of a club that has a true Brotherhood and a lot of real meaning (not a bunch of dumb stuff). This does not mean pledging is not fun for the members. It is fun for the pledges too, well, mostly. Of course I am not going tell you about our rituals......I mean activities, because it is a secret. Hey, wouldn't be special if everyone knew. So, I now have 5 guys walking around calling me Mr. Taylor. Pledging is great!!!

Returning Late Night......

I just got back with the youth group that I work with from Student Conference. It was in Ft. Worth, TX. I would start dogging Texas, but I will respect my Texas friends. I do have to note, the Dallas/Ft. Worth area rates just above Hell on my favorite places list. Speaking of Hell, Mark Matlock (the speaker) had a good talk on Hell. I have found that I disagree many times when people talk about Hell. I will not get into that. So you do not assume that I have gone easy on Hell, I will make a statement. Hell is real and it really sucks. You must have Jesus or you go there. I just do not usually agree on how people present it. Anyways....back to Dallas/Ft. Worth. To many people live there! Not only does the traffic stink, everyone's driving stinks. They do not know what driving manners are. Enough about that. I need to stop my randomness and write something worthwhile.

Did I ever mention that I am gonna write a book one day? Well, I am. I have discussed some of my ideas with my good friend Dave (teacherdave.blogspot.com). Yes, Dave will be a published writer one day. He is amazing. I am just a wannabe. Even though my talent does not compare, I still want to write a book or two or three for me. I have some non-fiction ideas also. Over the weekend I came up with another idea for a book. I will not tell you, well at least on here. I do not want anyone stealing my ideas. Dave, I will be telling you when I get the chance. I think I have about 3 short story/novella ideas, one novel idea, and about 3 or 4 Christian oriented ideas. One day it will happen and you will know.
