What is next?...........

Lately I have had a concentrated blog. It has been the Dark Tower series and Star Wars. Of course, the Star Wars thing is going to continue. I wonder what I should do next. I will take suggestions. What should be the theme or subject for my next series of blog entries? Please be realistic. Remember that I do have a life outside my blog and Star Wars. So, no "hey, blog three entries a day" thing. Remember also that I do not have internet at home.

Geek among geeks....................

Starting tomorrow (or maybe I should say today) Star Wars Celebration III will begin. I am already in Indianapolis, IN for this historical event. I am happy to say that I am attending SWC3 with My Lady. We are going to be geeks among geeks and it is going to rock. Every night from the hotel room I will post pictures and say what we did. One of the things that I am pumped up the most about is George Lucas will be in attendance, I believe Saturday morning. Yes, I will actually get to confirm that George Lucas is real by seeing him in the flesh. It is time to sleep. Check back for coverage of my first day.

Surprise in KC........

I would like to wish my Dad a happy 50th Birthday!!! I have made a suprise trip to Missouri see him. We went to a Royals game and they lost 2 to 1. Oh well. Now it is time to eat. A lot of meat cooked on Dad's new grill.

Revenge of the Sith is done.................

That is all George wrote folks! I finally know how it ends, or should I say begins (as in the original trilogy). Last night I finished Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I would of posted last night of course, but no internet at home. This is the movie that everyone has been waiting for. The words "freaken awesome" might not be good enough to describe it. Now, now, I hope I do not aid in over-hyping the movie. I totally enjoyed reading the novelization. I was actually thinking, that even though the novel is based on the screenplay, the novel still is better than the movie. The author allows insight to the thoughts and motivations of the characters. These cannot be presented on screen. Here is my example. We all know, or should know, that Anakin and Obi-Wan fight at the end. We also know that Obi-Wan jacks up Anakin right into the black mask and cape. When the battle starts Obi-Wan does not want to kill Anakin. As you follow his thought process throughout the fight, Obi-Wan decides he does have to kill Anakin and why. You will not get this watching the movie. There will just be a really cool lightsaber duel where Obi-Wan beats (slices) the "Chosen One." During many circumstances throughout the book, it was beneficial to not only know action and words; but also thoughts, motivations, etc. The movie is going to kick....um....ya. You all better be there on May 19th. We have to show Titanic that the Sith are in town.

I did say I was not going to tell you anything about the movie, and I am still not going too. I will give you some thoughts to ponder.
- This will not be rated PG. It will have to be at least PG-13. Why? Keep reading.
- Death, death, and more death (this is the Revenge of the Sith, not Jedi).
- I truely do not think you can keep track of how many body parts get cut or blown off.
- The Emperor is a freaken genious. The ultimate puppetmaster.
- Count Dooku is just a pawn, along with most everyone else.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi is the the greatest Jedi period (hey, I like Yoda too, but don't be hating until you have read or seen the movie).
- A Rebellion is born.

The Revenge is on............

Greetings! In my recovery of finishing the Dark Tower series I have dived right into Star Wars. Imagine that? I finished Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil. This book tells of the events leading up to Revenge of the Sith. Yes folks, I have begun the journey that will complete the Star Wars Saga. In a few days time, I will know what happens. All of you "movie only" people will just have to wait another month and a half!! If you ask me about it when I am done I WILL NOT tell you. But, I will taunt you. If you want to know early what happens go buy your own copy or go get it at the library and read it yourself. I am pumped and it is going to kick.....um.....things I should not say on my blog.

On a side note. I have retarded roomates, so I do not have internet at home anymore. I am at the mercy of the OBU network for my internet pleasures. I might say that the OBU network is one big pile of unreliable trash. I am not going to be able to keep up with some of your blogs to well because the OBU sucwork will only bring up on blogger page for the whole night. That means no matter what I put in the address bar, it brings up the same blog. Lately it has been bring up some "Ponder" blog that I do not have any interest in. Bantha fodder!
