Blank stare.....................................
The past two nights I have sat at the computer with a blank stare. I had my blog open and ready to type in, but nothing. Through the day I will think of things to type about and I will either forget about it or the idea looses it flavor. I could have talked about political topics, but I am on a political fast of some sorts. So, I am forcing myself to type something tonight. Enjoy.

........................................Let's do another list!!!
Top TV Shows in My Childhood.........(not in any particular order)
These days in my so called grown-up life I am not a big TV watcher. I am a movie watcher. So, to do a list of TV shows I have to reach back to the olden days.
The Wonder Years - If I did do a list in a ranking order, this could be at #1. For those who are not familiar with the show, Fred Savage stars with a cast of friends and family in this Vietnam War era show. The show has a narriator who is the grown-up version of Fred Savage's character(Kevin Arnold). This gives insight to the happenings of Kevin as an adult looking back on his childhood. Now,........... I must talk about Winnie. Oh Winnie Cooper. How I wanted to marry you.........when I was 12. She was hot stuff. Ok,............. shake it off Trevor, get back on track. It was a show I could relate to (not because I am that old and lived during Vietnam) because I was of similar age as the characters. Kevin dealt with the issues and difficulties of growing up, just as I was. If Dave does a list like this, his top show will be Boy Meets World. Interestingly, it stars Fred Savage's brother Ben. I would describe Boy Meets World as a modern day setting of The Wonder Years.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe - The power of Grayskull will come down on you!! Show Info.
Transformers - Robots in disguise!! Optimus Prime will beat you down. Why did Megatron put up with Starscream? Show Info.
Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles - TMNT was a favorite to watch when I came home for school. It was a late afternoon before supper show. I also remember playing the Nintendo games for hours on end with my younger brother Tyson. Cowabunga dude!
Batman: the Animated Series - When I make my trips to Houston I stay with Dave. On my last trip Dave pulled out and showed me with a smile the new addition to his DVD collection. It was a set of episodes from Batman. Over breakfast we took in a few episodes. A very well done cartoon.
I know their are more TV shows to be mentioned, but that is all for now. I would like you to tell me about your childhood favorites in my comment section.
