Star Wars Celebration 4 - Day 3

Day 3 of 5 done. We took a brake from C4 and went to the Dodgers game. They played the Cubs and the Cubs won 4-2. We had two homeruns land with 20 feet of where we were sitting. I still did catch some of C4.

Dodger Stadium. This stadium has a lot of history.

From the parking lot.

Travis looking on.

Back to the conference.

An interesting looking R2 unit.

A crispy Vader.

Keep checking back. Their are many things that I have not pictured yet.

BLOG ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want you to think of your favorite TV show. How would you like to be walking down the hall and you just happen to run into the creator of that show? That is exactly what happened to me yesterday!!! Yes, it is true, Ron Moore was here at C4 with his family yesterday. Yes, I have shook the hand and said the words "I'm a big fan of Battlestar" to the man behind the vision. I did not bother him for a photo or signature. He was with his family and did not want to bother him more. In case you have not caught it yet, Ron Moore is the creator of the new Battlestar Galactica.

Star Wars Celebration 4 - Day 2

Short post for day two. I was dog tired last night and I need to get ready to get in line this morning. Here are some highlights.

Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) both days now has came out and greeted fans while we were waiting to get in the convention center.

Ray Park (Darth Maul). Need I say more?

Hanging with Femi Taylor (Oola). She was Jabba's dancer in case you do not know that.

A really good Aayla Secura costume.

I will have more for you later.

Star Wars Celebration 4 - Day 1

IT IS HERE!!! Star Wars Celebration 4! It is a party 30 years in the making! It is Me, my brother, my nephew and thousands of fellow fans. I am writing to you from the Mayfair Hotel in downtown L.A. Here are pictures that tell the story of today, for the most part. We can not do it all today. We still have four days to go.

One constant at Celebration: lines. We had to do some walking just to get to the end of the line to get into the convention center.

Dylan and I had some fun messing around while in line.

Our small section of the line.

After looking at this picture, I realized that Trav and Dylan have personality similarities to the droids we all love. I will not publically say those similarities. If you know them, you can figure it out.

Fivebucks....um.....Starbucks is a move up from Jabba's Sailing Barge.

So, there are more people in Stormtrooper outfits than any other character. Dylan wanted a picture with them all.

.......and all of the R2 units too.

and more droids.

Even the U.S. Postal service wants a piece of the 30th Aniversary.

Another Stormtrooper.

Dylan playing Jedi Padawan.

Pimped out Star Wars rides.

Yoda in the pimped out ride.

One Lego Chewbacca.

Ooda Green!!!

Scoutrooper

"This party is over."

As we walked into the convention center.

Made from Legos.

Hasbro brought some lifesized toys with them.

Me and General Madine!

It probably took three hours for you to load all of these pictures. That was just the first day. I will be posting every night. Look back in for more stuff.
